UpStreet’s Summer Craze is a summer learning environment for for grade school children at North Point Community Church .  UpStreet staff worked with The P.O.P. Shop to produce a variety of elements for their Superhero themed program.  Superheroes included the Forgivenator, Captain Compassion, Super Cool, Guts Girl and Kid Confidence. Take home elements consisted of trading cards and temporary tattoos which were used to allow kids to connect to each specially design superhero and their biblical super power.  These are things that are already part of a kid’s world and it was obvious they enjoyed collecting and trading characters.  Signage included five larger than life standees of each hero towering as high as 9 feet.  The theme was saturated throughout the entire Sunday morning environment as kids learned valuable truths from the Bible in a creative atmosphere.  The success of this program has lead North Point Resources to package and resale the Superheroes program to other churches for the good of the universe.  This program was launched over a summer, but could be implemented any time of year.  If you have purchased the program for your church, email sonyabeam@thepopshop.com for pricing on superhero elements to support the program.  You will receive a price list and images of all available elements.
