Our marketing superheroes were on hand at Drive Conference 09 to make church staff and leaders aware of the importance of Sunday takeaways. Promotional products are incredibly impactful, and the majority of recipients can recall a message a year later. Giving an item away on Sunday connects the message to the hearts of the audience for much longer. Reaching children and adults beyond rows on Sunday is a must for any church. The event was held at North Point Community Church, our client and my home church. We had the opportunity to produce product for the event including black bags with DRIVE 09 logo and meeting signage. Both appear in the video highlights from Drive 09.

Following last summer’s release of a new powerful website and superhero marketing materials, The P.O.P. Shop continues their marketing efforts by putting a superhero billboard on wheels. A new Scion XB is completely wrapped in full color graphics featuring MARKETING SUPERHEROES. The car itself turns heads with its boxy style, but the vibrant purple graphics give passers by even more of an eyeful. To take this marketing mobile a step further, the driver keeps jumbo business card magnets all over the car as a take away for anyone who wants more information. Sometimes it’s a qualified sales lead and sometimes it’s a youngster grabbing a colorful superhero magnet and running away quickly. The car has been a riot both for the driver and for the onlookers. “I get a lot of looks, and I’m also a big hit at the bus stop every morning.” Said Jason Haralson, a Sales Rep for the company and the driver of the decked out Scion. The SUPERHERO MOBILE even displays the prestige license plate “SUPAHRO”. ”Since launching our new superheroes last year we have seen a surge of inquiries leading to new business.” said Brian Beam, President of The P.O.P. Shop. “We continue to get great compliments on the overall marketing of The P.O.P. Shop. In this day and age, you cannot update a company brochure without updating the website. As you can imagine, the website is incredibly fun. By clicking on “WHAT IS YOUR SUPERHERO ALIAS?” you can enter your first and last name to discover your superhero name. Various mailings will further saturate the SUPERHERO theme. Select recipients will receive a set of SUPERHERO postcards for their own use, and later mailings include miniature standees of some SUPERHEROES “We represent hundreds of suppliers in the promotional and print industry; we can be a remarkable resource for finding products and executing promotions.
